It’s Cookie Month! Celebrate by making your favorite homemade (or brake ‘n bake) cookies 😎 🍪
1st – Pumpkin Spice Day. Feels like a good day to try this DIY PSL ☕️
2nd – Name Your Car Day. You could make the name a spin on the make/model of your car, or name it something like “Old Faithful”. I have a RAV4 and call it Ravioli 😂
3rd – Look at the Leaves Day. While you’re out enjoying the changing leaves, read up on why leaves change color this time of year 🤓🍁
4th – Taco Day. Have yourself a little homemade fiesta, or hit the Taco Bell drive-thru – either way, taco ‘bout a good time 🌮
5th – Do Something Nice Day. Here’s a list of 100 nice things to do for others 💕
6th – World Smile Day. Play the “first person to smile/laugh loses” game with your family members, roommate or significant other 😂
7th – Card Making Day. Make a list of upcoming celebrations / people you could send a card & make a bunch! ✂️ 💌
8th – World Octopus Day. If you haven’t read it, Remarkably Bright Creatures is a wonderful read centered around an Octopus as one of the main characters – I read it for my book club this year & can’t recommend enough! 🥰 I have also heard great things about My Octopus Teacher documentary on Netflix 🐙
9th – Curious Events Day. Read about 11 Curious Events that really happened 👻
10th – Cake Decorating Day. If you feel intimidated by anything more than a simple sheet cake (🙋🏼♀️), check out cake decorating 101 🎂
11th – Myths & Legends Day. Read up on some famous myths & legends 📖
12th – Gumbo Day. Try making this authentic New Orleans style Gumbo 🍤
13th – Silly Sayings Day. Read through a list of silly sayings, commit to using one as much as possible today 😜
14th – Costume Swap Day. Host a costume swap with friends (and kiddos)! Everyone brings a costume(s) and/or accessories to contribute to the “swap” pile. Voilà, you’re heading home with some new costumes/inspo! 💃🏼
15th – Pug Day. Here are 10 fun facts about pugs 🐶
16th – Learn a Word Day. Learn a new word & try to sneak it into your vocabulary today –you could also sign up for a word of the day email💡
17th – Pasta Day. Celebrate with your favorite pasta dish! I think mac & cheese totally counts 😏
18th – Meatloaf Day. This might be an unpopular opinion but I LOVE meatloaf 😂 If you aren’t a meatloaf fan could I venture that maybe you haven’t had a good one?! My dad’s is the best IMO but here’s the best meatloaf I could find on the internet 🤓
19th – Evaluate Your Life Day. This day makes me laugh because it falls on my birthday every year 😂 It seems very fitting to reflect on my last year as I turn another year older 👵🏼
