5th – Bathtub Party Day. If you have a little one/s, have an actual party in the bathtub! Ideas: balloons, bath bombs, music, bubbles, popsicles, etc. 🎈🛁 🎉
6th – Saint Nicholas Day. Here’s the backstory on how Saint Nicholas came to be modern day Santa Claus 🎅🏽
7th – Cotton Candy Day. For those wondering: how does cotton candy work? 🧐
8th – Pretend to be a Time Traveler Day. How fun would this be 😂 Feels like a good day to watch a movie on time travel like Back to the Future, About Time (my favorite movie!!), Kate & Leopold, 13 Going on 30, etc. This day also makes me think of the episode of New Girl when “Nick from the future” visits (Season 2, Episode 2).
9th – Disco Ball Day. Have yourself a little kitchen disco & read up on how the iconic dance floor ornament came to be 🕺🏻
10th – Nobel Prize Day. Fun dinner conversation topic: share about how the Nobel Prize started & discuss: who would you give one to? 🤓 🏆
11th – Have a Bagel Day. Hit up your fave bagel spot, or try out a homemade bagel recipe 🥯
12th – Gingerbread House Day. Here are some key tips & tricks for Ginger Bread House building 🍪 🔨 🏠
13th – Cocoa Day. Partake in one of the best warm beverages out there. My personal fave brand is Land O’ Lakes – or try making this homemade cocoa recipe ☕️
14th – Roast Chestnuts Day. Here’s how to do it – in the oven or, in the spirit of THE Christmas Song, over an actual open fire 🔥
15th – Wear Your Pearls Day. Don’t save them for someday – wear the pearls, use the plates, drink that fancy bottle of wine you’ve been saving for a special day – today is a special day as any! 🎉
